Almost jumped on it, but state e-file is not free.

That's pretty much a limitation of any version of Turbotax. I don't think I've ever seen state e-filing free in the Turbotax products. It's never been a problem for me either. My Federal return is usually huge, but the State return ends up being like 2 or 3 pages. No problem to mail that in at all.

This is a better deal.

Was at Sams last night and it was either the same price or less. In the box, federal & state. No downloads to mess with.

Amazon is a price follower not a price leader. If it's at Amazon and it looks like a deal; it's probably the same or less someplace else.

Download is so much easier. Takes a minute to download, no disk to keep around and lose. Works just like the CD version. I do NOT however like the online versions, but this is identical to the disk version.

And as mentioned earlier there has never to my knowledge been a free STATE efile. It's always ~$20. I still efile to avoid any hassles with the mail being lost (you get an instant or near instant confirmation that they have been received), so that $20 while annoying is worth it to me for piece of mind.

Cheaper than my previous 2 years of turbotax deluxe from amazon so I'm in.

I think the online versions are the only kind I will ever use. So much better than the download versions in my experience. I use tax act for what I need. $12 for federal and state.

Only $10 lower than everyone else. Hardly a deal. Newegg one was better, but is sold out. As tax season approaches there will be better deals everywhere.
