News for those waiting for HARP 2.0
There are a lot of underwater homeowners whom have been anxiously awaiting for HARP 2.0, which will include the lifting of Loan To Value (LTV) limits that the current HARP products have.
I just received notification from Wells Fargo that Feb 3rd is the last day to register a loan under the current HARP guidelines and that HARP 2.0 guidelines will apply to all new loans registered starting Feb 6th.
I think this move on Wells part will spark competition for all lenders to speed up their offering of the HARP 2.0 product availability.
There are still A LOT of questions about the specific HARP 2.0 guidelines, as well as pricing, but this does bring a bit of good news to those with very high LTV's looking for relief.
I will continue to update as I receive more news.
