Saving for a House / Grad School
Hello Slickdealers,
Im wondering what is the best way to save for a house / grad school. Im a recent grad and have an excellent job. My plan is to roughly have $50-$70k for grad and/or house down payment in 3 years. I only ask this, because it seems like a daunting task to save up for such a big item. I currently live at home, so no real expenses. If i do decide to do grad school, Im 50% sure that I will not opt to work & pursue grad school, hence not opting for the $10k/yr the company offers.
Financials:
- Maxing out my 401k up to matching %
- $300 (Cell/Internet/TV) bill for the entire family paid by me
- $750 / 6mo. insurance
- $5k contribution per year to Roth IRA
- Soon to have $500/mo new car
If you need more info, please let me know.
Thanks,
