Anyone have other cases? Ive been thinking of this one. Or know which laptop is our series 3 close to so i can expand my shopping searches.
Am using a Covertec 11" sleeve. About 8 bucks online. It's advertised as fitting laptops/netbooks with dimensions up to: 10.8 x 7.9 x 1.3"

It fits nicely, but to me it's more like: 10.8 x 8.9 x 1.3". The extra depth is noticeable with the Princeton inside. Am looking for a little tighter / compact fit. I might try the 9" covertec version.

would 8gb ram stick work in this thing? I thought it says max 4gb per slot?
Yes, 1 x 8gb will work. There is ONLY 1 slot, and it already comes w/ 1 x 4gb, so we don't have a choice but to remove it and put in 1 x 8gb...

Anyways, I picked up this one when it was on sale @ $55 for 1 x 8gb - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Pro...6820144555

So now my system is almost complete - upgraded hdd w/ Intel 160gb X25-M G2 SSD, and memory w/ 1 x 8gb. Now just need a cheap 6600mah battery Big Grin

fwiw I bought this battery:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayIS...OU:US:1123
and it was like 72.xx not sure why it's showing 172 atm....the battery life is amazing...and although it definitely adds some depth/weight, it's well worth it imo...

What Brand and model #? How much was it? I am wanting one but dont want to break the bank.

How does it affect boot up time?
Sorry, should have mentioned Intel 310 series:

http://slickdeals.net/permadeal/67604/tigerdirect.com-80gb-intel-320-series-2.5-sata-ii-mlc-internal-solid-state-drive-ssd

Boot time is greatly reduced (I don't time things other than just my observation). Definetly snapier, though that could also be becuase I did a fresh install of Windows Ultimate without a lot of the bloatware that comes with the laptop.

$69 ar for the hard drive (used the $10 visa credit).

Wow that last one is nice, the addition of the pocket is great for only a couple more dollars.

Not real sure, I ordered the Casemate last night. Preferred the simplistic approach and the colors.

nice and snug in there are does it have room to roam, looks a hair too long.

A case is better the no case.

I looked at my dell mini9 case and no way would that fit.

There is a little room but no movement. Slides in easily. I would prefer a case more like my last,a zeroshock:
http://www.amazon.com/Zeroshock-I...pd_sim_e_2
Its thinner and has a memory foam type material, but not worth over twice the price.

Is anyone else having issues with the system lagging a lot after waking up from sleep or hibernate? I saw it reported by at least one person in the October deal thread, and I'm definitely running into it as well. Any tips?

Also as far as cases go, I got the rooCase listed earlier, and I've been really happy with it. The outer pocket is just large enough for the AC adapter if packed well, but it seems like a solid case with a little more protection than your standard neoprene sleeve.
