So any ideas on why I should NOT pull the trigger?

Besides obviously that I don't need a new TV at this point? Stick Out Tongue

I'm looking for a new TV for a new house in the 60" range. This would be perfect except for no 3D..which isn't a big deal for me but this js at least $600 cheaper than the Panny I was looking at. Hmmmmmmmm.

Bought it. IF you don't care about 3D and WiFi ready, this is a no-brainer.

I've owned this tv for a few months now. Picture is very good. However, it does have bad glare. If it faces a window, daytime viewing annoying.

Great TV, got it a month ago pricematching to sears + %15 discover cash back. Out the door I paid $670 but it was a big pain in the ass trying to get Sears to pricematch on an order that I placed online.

For $800 its still a great no-frills TV. Picture is awesome out of the box, but you can get a little bit of an improvement for movies if you calibrate it. Settings can be found pretty easily at avsforums by searching for pv450.

Be aware that this has a reflective screen. Its not terrible, but if you do a lot of daytime viewing in a bright room it might be an issue. If you want a BIG tv, aren't worried about 3d/wifi/apps, and don't want to spend much, you likely aren't going to find anything better than this deal.

Is this a good tv for XBox or Gaming? I have a Sharp TV with >100ms delay that is unusable. I have heard Plasmas are much faster.

Please keep in mind that this is just my experience and I could not find a single post of a situation like mine out there. All in all the reviews for this TV are very positive and it seems to be a reliable set.

I bought this TV at Microcenter on December 17th and applied the blacknoir settings http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/sh...417&page=3
I broke it in for 100hrs and the picture for me was great and I was very impressed with the TV's Color and its black levels. Glare for me was not as bad as some of the reviews portray.

Fast forward to January 7th... I'm watching a basketball game and all of a sudden a bright red vertical line appears on the right side of the TV. LG sends out a tech on January 9th and he tells me the whole panel needs to be replaced due to a "bad pixel". The tech just scheduled to come out on Tuesday to complete the repair.

This thing has been great for gaming, not noticeable ghosting.

I picked this up on black friday a few years ago from hhgregg for a grand, and I have no complaints other than the glossy screen being prone to glare.

This is a great price.
