Help me find an HDTV, details and budget inside...TIA!

Looking for a 46-47" LED 1080p HDTV with 3 (or more) HDMI ports for ~$600. I would prefer to avoid the cheaper brands (i.e. Haier, Sceptre, Coby) but I may consider Vizio, Westinghouse, LG, etc.

I know Walmart has the Sceptre for $410. I'm considering the 47" set at Sam's club:

However, total cost would be closer to $700 after taxes.

Also, would consider buying from online retailer to avoid tax and shipping (I'm a member of ShopRunner and Amazon Prime if that helps).

Any help would be appreciated as it's not as easy as it seems to locate what I want for my budget. I have considered buying from big box stores, using discounted gift cards, etc. So I'm definitely willing to do the footwork or wait for the right deal.

Any opinions on brands, picture quality, sound quality, etc.

I'm upgrading from a Samsung slim DLP which I have enjoyed the past 4 years. I have had no issues whatsoever with this unit, aside from 2 bulb replacements (third party bulbs, most recently replaced in Dec). I'd like to dump this TV while I can still get a fair amount of cash for it locally.
