I'd assume that it needs to be FAT32, most SD cards are formatted that way (most cameras require FAT32 format). Try putting some photos on the card and see if it will display them.

Page 26 of the manual:

• SD-Video Files (SD-Video Standard Ver.1.3)
Modified data with a PC may not be displayed correctly.
• AVCHD Standard compatible files

• MP4 files (Video codec H.264 | Audio codec MP3/AC-3/LPCM)
• MKV files (Video codec H.264 | Audio codec MP3/AC-3/LPCM)
• MPEG-2 PS files*
• MPEG-2 TS files

Same problem pretty much can go in your original thread. http://slickdeals.net/f/3848234-panasoic-Viera-plasma-WiFi-adapter-play-movies-from-USB?v=1

The same answer applies. You are assuming that just because your TV has a slot for an SD card or USB it can play any type of media you throw at it. Reality is this is not the case. You TV may be capable of displaying or playing some types of files you put at it but likely you will go through a lot trouble for not much game. Buy one of the devices I suggested in your other thread and your problems will go away. These devices are designed for what you are looking to do. This is not Panasonic's fault, do more research next time.
