732/733U for $2k or bust. The 632's jittery fast motion is annoying.

240hz is a gimmick and 632 is not jittery at all if you turn off motion enhancement.

I'm holding out for 732/33/34 to hit $2k also. The 700 series has quad pixel. It may be a gimmick to some but it looks pretty good to me. Also have to figure tax on bb orders, and the fact that this set was cheaper locally in nov/dec.

if you go on AVS, there is no agreement if 4th yellow pixel makes picture better or worse. Most people can't tell the difference even with TVs sitting side by side.There is no other TVs on the market with 4th pixels and no other manufactures plan to go this route.

Not a bad deal at all especially since bestbuy gives you a 60 day price guarantee. Sure you could get it cheaper after a few months but what electronics item won't be cheaper?
With proper calibration this is a great set , plus you can get it for $1899 from hh Gregg also via 5% off code. |

Costco has the LC-70LE632U right now for $1849.99 after Mfr's instant rebate. They also have the LC-70LE733U on sale for $2,399.99 after Mfr's instant rebate. Do you think BB would match these prices (so I could get the financing)?
Really want to wait for the 733 to go to $2k, but don't want to wait forever... |

For some reason, whenever I see the 632U next to a 732U, I can always tell that the picture on the 632U is a bit grainier and for the lack of a better term, less "crisp." This is also true comparing the 632U to other name brand TV sets. I know that some stores may tweak the settings of higher-end models better than lower-end models but this is the case at every store I've gone to (and I've been to at least 4-5). I wanted to pick up the 70" 632U for my dad this past BF, but after seeing them in the store, I decided to save my money. Anyone else have a similar experience?
FWIW, I went with the 60" LG plasma from Newegg last week instead. |
