mail in four rebates from software brought from Newegg.com by the end of December, but only one of them got email confirm and tracking number.

How long should I waiting, or mail lost in transit?

usually 6-8 weeks is common it can take sometimes up to 10-12 weeks. just keep track when you send in your rebates, etc.(making a copy or something so you have a copy) if after that amount of time i don't get mine if there is a phone # on the rebate i call or i send a second request and write/highlight on the front of the envelope that this is a 2ND REQUEST!!!!!!!!!!! good luck.i have seen a minumum of about 2-3 weeks i think those are not so popular rebates as they come so fast.

The industry standard is 8-12 weeks. Parago (those submitted to El Paso) usually has a faster turn around. However, it usually takes a few extra weeks to process all those rebate offers submitted between Thanksgiving and New Year. My fastest rebate turn around was 3 weeks (Parago/Symantec/Staples), the slowest was 7 month (MadDog). Fortunately, I have many rebates that I received in 3-4 weeks (even recently but before Thanksgiving) while there was only one that took 7 months.

If they offer tracking number, it usually shows up around 3 weeks after submission.

This year, the rebates seems to be pretty smooth. I have only one $10 rebate (out of $800+ from 40+ offers) submitted in the last 3 months needs to follow up with phone call.

Seems like this years rebates mailed the week after Christmas are taking much longer to be entered at Parago than last years. Last took about a week and a half after mailing to show up on their website. This years mailed in the same time frame have not been entered as of today, almost a month later.

Perhaps that is a sign of improving economy. More people are willing to take the risk and jump into rebate offers. Alternatively, it may be a sign of reduced workforce at Parago. Some of the rebate offers are not even in their system 3 weeks after the purchase. That would delay the entry of rebate submission into their database. Some of the Symantec and Corel rebates were delayed by 2-3 weeks because of that. So they first need to have that offer in the system, then enter the received submission (or provide pre-submission online), before you will receive a tracking number.
