i do not see the problem getting ICS it has the most current hardware for ANY TABLET and when you compare these to the newer "better" China Tabs with the Allwinner A10 that cost $100-$130 this will blow them away
This is only 800x480 resolution, so I think it isn't the best option currently. Plus battery life is less than 4 hours (at least according to the Engadget review)
This would be good at probably 120$, but even for that price I would look for a used/refurb Nook Color, due to the resolution and the battery alone.
Agreed. I tested one of these earlier this year. Very blurry-looking screen, and the battery life definitely leaves something to be desired. The Lenovo A1 from a while back was a better deal, IMHO. Don't know that I'd go with a used Nook Color, though: very choppy performance. A used Nook Tablet from Craig's List, though, now that would be a possibility, if the seller was willing to go down to the 180's, which is what this Dell tablet looks to cost with tax (presuming a 7% sales tax).
