Got my M6900 yesterday

I have the GM-M8000 and GM-M6800
the GM-M8000 (laser) was absolutely amazing when it worked (had a common issue that caused it to become unresponsive). I'm stuck using the GM-M6800 now which is optical but not bad, it's not very good for gaming since at times it isn't as precise as the GM-M8000 was, but for $10 these low end gaming mice aren't bad. Lesson: get the Laser for gaming, Gigabyte's Optical version will not be as precise while playing even on the same dpi settings. |

Optical is decent enough though, probably better than most mouse around the price range of $10..

i just got my GM-M6900! its nice! super smooth scrolling. now i just have to find a gaming mousepad to go with it. any suggestions?

Why does the optical have more dpi than the laser? And is cheaper?
