You cannot gift miles to another account. Yu can buy airfare for anyone though, not only you or your wife, from any account.

Just thought I'd give everyone an update on the SW RR Personal AND Business cards I got. I have both pointing to the same RR account and have been spending away on them. The February statement just clicked off which included the 50,000 point bonuses from each card. My status towards a Companion pass is 95% (~5,000 points left).

So it looks like this promotion DOES count towards companion passes. Now stop calling CSR's and trying to screw it up!

Just called chase today to activate my card and confirm I'll get 50k points. CS said yes it is 50k points after 1st purchase still.

Still waiting for my personal card...Hopefully I'll get that too

thats the $69 annual fee one, but that link does have the 50k promo instead of the 25k

can someone help me. i got the card $69 fee 50k points card like a week ago and bought something so i just logged on to check the points update( i know it should be a min of 4 weeks but still). i logged on through the chase website and clicked the "check reward points" link and it directs me to southwest.com and says i have to create a rapidrewards account and i just did. but when i logged on to the southwest.com account theres no option or anything to link my chase card to it. keep it mind i got the card and used it before even creating a southwest.com account. is there some way to link my card to southwest.com or something so i can just login and check the points in 4 weeks? my chase freedom and sapphire cards rewards points are all shown through the chase.com website but not this southwest one.

If you didn't specify a RR# during the application process - Chase created one for you. Therefore the one you created on Southwest.com will not be the one linked with your Chase credit card. Call Chase and they will give you your correct RR#.

Your RR# should be on the front of the credit card, under your name. Can you create an online account using this number?
