That's an alright price for this product.

Costco sells (I think) a 6.5qt for $79.99 - Kirkland Signature brand, but also made in France vs. China (although their enameled cast iron frying pan is made in China).

Personally I'm spoiled because a store called Tuesday Morning was selling 8 and 8.5qt Chasseur cast iron dutch ovens for $99 on black Friday. We ended up buying two - one round, one oval.

I know this thread is specifically about an awesome deal on Le Creuset but if you are just interested in high quality enamel coated cast iron pots and not the particular brand, you might want to check out the Lodge brand [walmart.com] at Walmart or Amazon (~$50 for the 6 quart). Walmart also has their store brand Tramontina [walmart.com]. (I cannot vouch for this as I have never used it.) I love my Lodge, but if you don't trust me, check out the amazon reviews [amazon.com].

Tramontina is not WalMart's brand.. The lodge is nice.. but the le crucet is nicer.. i own both..

That's why I'm not jumping, I have a Lodge one that cost less, is the same size, and will last forever. The enameled cast iron looks nice but will chip.

My bad about the Tramontina. I thought it was specifically made for Walmart. Thanks for the correction

Also, I wasn't trying to hijack the thread, just wanted people to know there were other options out there if they couldn't afford the sale price for the Le Creuset.
