One thing that bother me about this is they never tried to put the breaks on their problem e.g. furlough, pay cut, or lay off. They just went all the way over the cliff without ever slowing down. Last edited by appleyum; 06-20-2012 at 10:22 PM..  愛Lovingly Protecting Peachyum

Was EA the only source funding Amalur or were there others. If EA was the only source then that begs the question about other loans expecting pay back before their MMO product ships. If it it's not then when exactly did 38 Studio expect Amalur turn into a profit, because if they still had to pay EA then less money can be pay back for the MMO loans. |

FYI for Best Buy Gamer Club members: there's a $30 off coupon in the July @Gamer magazine (BB's in-house mag) for new copies of KoA. Reports indicate that brings down a new copy to $10, so if you're still holding out, this would be a great time.
The magazine costs $5 with a lot of other coupons in it (see above link for this months), or get a whole year of the mag for $15 which includes the unlocked gamers club (lotsa perks), deals on pre-owned games and bonuses for pre-orders, plus extra points on gaming purchases towards RZ certs. |

 It was nice to get the game for $10 (but $25 total cost when you include signing up for a year of the magazine - regardless, thats still about $15 then I have seen it anywhere else brand new! friggin great deal). Now i'm just waiting for the DLC to go on sale. Thanks to SlickDeals,i got a Samsung 40" LED 1080p tv from Target for $372. I also got a set of 2 memory foam pillows for $16.
Thanks to Christ, I get to go to Heaven, even though I don't deserve it. |
