i also have the platinum mastercard, and i just applied for this one...the CSR said that the bonus is noted on my account, so i should be getting the bonus.

I got denied because of too many recent credit inquiries and now they think fraud has been commited on my credit report because I applied for more that 5 credit cards in a 5 day period. I don't blame them, their protecting themselves and my credit from security problems.

I just got carried away after I got approved for credit increases on 3 of my credit cards 2 weeks ago, and I got approved for a new Chase card.

Do you think at this point they would still reconsider?

So after getting my denial letter in the mail from Citi last week for the Citi Dividend Platinum Select Visa Card because of too many recent inquiries(fraud protection), over 10 in the past 2 weeks I randomly receive a email from them about 15 minutes ago.

It reads "
Congratulations! Your application for the Citi Dividend Card was approved with a credit limit of $1,500. "

I was confused on how I was approved when they already sent me a rejection letter and then I found out I was approved for the Citi Dividend Card for College Students.
So I just get a small $1,500

Oh well it's better than having no credit Card from them.

I really wanted to get in on that 0% apr for 18 months on purchases and balance transfers, and $200 Cash Back Promotion.

I could really go for a balance transfer right about now.

I was thinking the same thing.

So, this card, the NFL card and the Chase Freedom card... $700 in free money... Who wouldn't want to do this? And all I really buy with my cards are gas and groceries - so keep these deals coming!!
