46" Sony Bravia KDL-46HX820 1080p LED 3D Smart HDTV X-Reality Pro Local Dimming for $999 Fry's B&M
Fry's has the 46" Sony Bravia KDL-46HX820 3D WiFi Edge LED Backlit 1080p HDTV available in-store (but not via website) for $999.
Sale price is valid from Friday February 3, 2012 thru Thursday February 9, 2012.
This price is $100 less than their sale price from two weeks ago.
The Fry's ad is viewable at frys.com as Weekly Ad Page 1 [frys.com] and I've attached the ad image to this post. The ad doesn't mention brand or model number but the ad description and the MSRP are an exact match to the Sony KDL46HX820 item shown here [frys.com].
The Frys.com website price [frys.com] still shows $2599 but that's because this is an in-store price only. Fry's is using this technique to avoid losing business to Amazon price matches.
This is the 2nd best 46" model that Sony rolled out in 2011. X-Reality PRO Engine, Gorilla Glass, Full HD 1080p in 2D and 3D, local dimming, LED, Internet TV for streaming entertainment, OptiContrast Panel, Motionflow XR 480, and more. The picture on this beast is absolutely stunning. And the X-Reality PRO Engine does an outstanding job at preventing text motion blur.
I bought my TV two weeks ago when the price was $1099 (click here to see my previous deal thread) and I don't regret it one bit. This TV rocks! I was able to get an Amazon price match but many others were unsuccessful so YMMV if you try to go that route this time around.
For more information on the specs of the 46HX820 check out the Sony website [sony.com].
Edit: Seems the slickdeals URL redirect isn't working. The actual URL is store.sony.com followed by /webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10551&storeId=10151&langId=-1&productId=8198552921666312878 .
If you like the deal then by all means please thumbs up the deal and give me reps. And enjoy your new TV!
