Free Signature Collection Travel Item of Your Choice ($5 value)

I went to a Bath and Body store near me with my daughter and was told that we could not use "copies", which are not copies but are prints out with UL address on them. Then she told me that she would let us use one coupon not two. One per group is a new policy?? I have never had any problem using printed coupons with my daughter at Bath and Body stores. I wonder if it is better to show a coupon on a cell phone. I do not have a data plan but I can load a coupon ahead of time at home.

I had a bath and bodyworks refuse to take it because I didn't print it.. I think it's just the workers at the store being rude.. She said you couldnt show it on your phone had to be a printout.. i didnt care to fight with her.. went to a different store.. they took it no problem.

I just looked at the coupon and on the fine print it says one coupon per customer, so the sales associate was wrong about the one per group policy. For me I had to tell the manager that the coupon was not only valid on only the 14th (she had thought that) but that the promo lasts until 20th. I always read the fine print of coupons so that I know what I can/cannot use. Hopefully that helps you if you plan on heading back to the same store for future freebie promos!

I think the sale person did not want to give out freebies as it was obvious that we were not going to get anything else but the free stuff. I went to another store with my daughter today and there was no problem. They did two items with two coupons in one transaction. They even gave us some coupons for future use. So it must have been just that sales person who is not very pleasant (to say the least). Now that I had this negative experience, I am not sure I want to go back to the first store next time there is a free coupon.....

The coupon clearly states No purchase necessary. BBW wants you to try out the product.

Next time you have a problem like that with a store cashier (or even manager!), call the corporate customer service hotline on the receipt or website. You can even do it while in the store and they'll fix the situation. If you even tell the cashier you'll call, the cashier may suddenly accommodate you.

It's ridiculous what some of the shenanigans BBW cashiers pull or make up.

There are no "copies" of the coupon; it's from the direct link BBW sent out, and BBW even encourages you to show it on your phone with all their coupons.

Sunday, 2/19; visited our nearest BBW store. Wow. It took us awhile (daughter, daughters friend & I) had four legitimate coupons. We determined what we liked in the Signature Collection. One of the employee's at BBW was listening to our conversation, she interrupted us, & told me, in her exact words: "we can only accept THREE OF THOSE COUPONS"...not FOUR. I wanted to just "BOOK" out of the store, leave the merchandise & not walk into that store again. We had no problem checking out, I only got three products. The employee who checked us out was super nice, gave us coupons (multiple per bag). I am thinking of calling the Corporate office of BBW. Does anyone have their PH #: or email so I can make a complaint. The first employee was rude as heck. Wow, & in this economy, who buys lots of bath products. Ummmm... I was treated so well @ Younkers beauty counter two weeks back, and spent minimum amount of money,,,,walked out with tons of samples for free !

I can't believe you were able to get 3... you are only supposed to get ONE per person. So you're lucky the employee said you can use 3, not 4.

Thank you for the advice. It did not occur to me to call the corporate when that happened. I will bring corporate phone #s when I go shopping with coupons. I had a similar problem when I went to use free coupons with my daughter at Pier 1. Stores in general seem to be discouraging children accompanied by an adult to use their own coupons. My daughter is in high school so it should not be a problem.

She had four people in her group (one coupon per person).

One per customer. If a party of fifty walked in with a coupon each they would be, according to the very coupon, entitled to one per customer. You should have just pocketed one. Then afterwards called corporate.
