It's apparently a 2 year old bu. The work around they offer does not work in any of the three browsers I tried: http://support.igninsider.com/ics...ionID=2824

I bought this game from the steam sale. It's a really fun game. With a hero who sounds like Johnny Cash. Well worth the free price tag.

EDIT: finally got it to work. Not sure I'd do this again but it is a free game that I've seriously considered buying on at least one occasion.
I've spent like 15 minutes signing up for crap trials and every email under the sun and I can't get it to work. I won't give you a TD but I don't recommend this at all. I wish I hadn't gotten into it, giant waste of time!! Last edited by pbmpharmacist; 02-03-2012 at 04:10 PM.. |

I had no luck using credit card(s) to sign up for this last I tried. Using paypal it went without a hitch; thanks for reminding me to try again.

sweet, just used a rebate credit card/gift card to sign up. redeemed both games and the bastion sound track already.

I was able to register for IGN Prime with an almost-empty Visa Gift card. Picked up both Rochard and King Arthur and got them to register on Steam. Also obtained the 15% off Gamersgate, although I'm not sure if it'll stick after I cancel Prime.
It said this in the confirmation email: "You will be billed again 5 days before your current service period ends to avoid loss of use." Looks like you have 5 days to cancel, not 7. |
