It is electric. However, I believe this is the normal everyday price.

I have one of these. I've only smoked salmon and trout but they come out great. It's a blessing not having to put in coal to keep the smoker at the right temperature. Just gotta put in more wood chips when they run out. But yeah, it's their everyday price.

I have had one for years. They do a good job. I make a small foil try (out of aluminum foil) and put the wood chips in it for a smoke source. You can do two turkeys in it slow smoking for 12 hours depending on the outside temp. It has a water tray to keep it moist when cooking. It does a good job on slow cooked BBQ pork also.
