this seems like a hot deal for people looking for 3tb, cheapest ive seen previous was a hot deal at $169
(4) 1TB Hitachi - $68 ea. regular $172
(3) 500gb WD 2.5" FreeAgent Go - $120 ea. regular $240 (2) Craftsman Ltd Ed Titamium - $20 ea. regular 40 |

I think the Staples link is a USB 2.0 one.

Same here. The price finally is coming down. Thanks to the SSD prices dropping I belive. I am waiting for a steal of a deal. All the Staples deals have been out of stock around me so far. I will wait and just make due with the drives I have now. This is a good deal if you need a drive now and can't wait. |

I am discouraged by the 60 (out of 172) 1-star reviews for this drive.

With the PM to Staples it would be very hot, but they seem to be out of stock. Keep in mind if the drive is removed from the enclosure it will void the warranty.

Bestbuy has the free agent 3tb for $149 as well in todays add. Which is better the expansion or free agent..thx

Once staples is back in stock why not go for the $30 off 150? just have to add a small filler (assuming price match). That is my current plan!

This seems to be a FP worthy deal. Reputable drive from a reputable dealer. No rebate. Cheapest Price on Google Shopping search. Seems like it meets all the qualifications to me. Great job OP.
