To make it worse, rumors are floating around its going to be forced after the first. I asked my fav manager yesterday about it and he said nothing is official, but those guys I was talking to (suits I referenced in another post) were there to find out how the program was working. They mentioned then one of the things they are looking at is eliminating the opt out option.
Hope those guys come to Jellystone. Here's what I'd tell them.
1). Stock plenty of pic-a-nic baskets.
2). Include mango salsa on the ones that you really want to sell.
3). Eliminate the 6 am rule because bears get hungry all of the time.
4). Have a running total of the ups loaded to your card print on the receipt. Bears
need to know exactly how many pic-a-nic baskets they can buy.
5). Make sure that the coupons come off before the ups. You don't want an angry
bear at the register.
6). Pay special attention to the mango salsa.
I already opted out so don't know but was curious does the register accept all the RA coupons (in ad, email printed ones, and VV coupons) fine before scanning the card? I know it doesn't on UP's but had never tried with all of those other types of RA coupons.
email printed coupons will not come off without scanning the card
Anyone know if the unclip feature works for +ups? During the test market time, if you unclipped the +ups disappeared. Hoping they fixed that problem.
In the mobile app? Yes, it works great. I only have one card, and I let my ups load to it. When I'm in the store and a deal isn't working out as planned, I launch the app and adjust my "clipped" ups accordingly. It works instantaneously, too, as I've done it while waiting in line for the register. I'm able to "re-clip" the unused ups immediately after the transaction.
