Heads up!

Just got back from Pei Wei a few minutes ago and just so others avoid the same error that I made, the free meal is the Basil Chicken DINER SELECT, NOT the Basil Chicken ENTREE!!! Had I read the actual coupon, I probably would've known this, but I already had it in my mind as "entree" from the thread title.

The register WILL NOT accept the coupon if you order the entree. Fortunately, the workers at my local Pei Wei are super-cool. The manager just did an override and I got the entree for free + I still have my unused coupon.

The coupon does not state that you must order chicken -- You have the option of getting the Thai Basil Diner Select with Chicken, Steak, Shrimp, Tofu, Vegetables, or Vegetables & Tofu. The "Diner Select" portion comes with rice (white rice, brown rice, or for an extra dollar fried rice) and a side (Vegetable Spring Roll, a cup of Hot & Sour Soup, a cup of Wonton Soup, or a side of Asian Slaw).
