Just wondering... is it that little hatch I've seen on the batch that looks like it opens. I have a 60" one also I got back during Black Friday in 2008 when BestBuy had it for 899 (and bing had a good percentage back too) and the 100 manufacturer's warranty and I got the replacement bulb late 2009 (and didnt send back my original working one) before the warranty year was over. TV is still going strong but when I do go to replace it... I figured it was easy but is that where you do it at? One would assume

All of that was through slickdeal posts and member information and the warranty replacement bulb submission information was a great backup. I am hoping it lasts a good while long before I have to change the bulb.

Yes, if you are looking at the front of the TV, it will be the door on the left-side rear. All you need is a phillips head screwdriver to remove the one screw holding the door on, and the two screws that hold the bulb housing in place. You then just pull the housing out (there is a little handle to pull on) and it will slide right out. Installation is the reverse of removal.

So tempting,but dunno what I'd do with my 60" of the same type.

Does this one need a 3d conversion box too or is it one of the newer models?

These are great TV's I would buy another one, but I have no where to put it. I have a 73 in the living room a 65 in my game room a 50 inch in the bed room and a 52 inch (LCD) in the loft. Now sure the wife wants another 73 in the house.

We wouldnt no as these TVs were manufactured last year (probably late last year stock).
So in 2 years and some months we will have the answer.

I just watched the Super Bowl on mine yesterday, awesome set.

Dell was actually advertising this for $929.00 on the top of SD as part of the daily give away. A very tempting price, but not sure it really strays far away from this same price point.
