Before downloading, check your specs:
Experience The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim as you’ve never seen it before with the Skyrim High-Resolution Texture Pack. Make sure your system requirements exceed Skyrim’s recommended specs before attempting to install, including Windows Vista or 7 operating system, a minimum of 4GB of system RAM and a DirectX 9.0c compatible NVIDIA or AMD ATI video card with at least 1 GB of RAM and the latest drivers.
System Requirements
From my experience I would say more than 1gb, that is what I have and it was no longer a decent frame rate compared to before (hd 4890, 6gb ram, i7-920).

Is it worth it? My internet maxes out around 70kb/s download and i don't want to waste time getting the huge download for nothing....

I know the title on steam is pretty self explanatory but they could at least throw in some before and after pics if that is possible.
I would imagine this will not come out on the consoles because of horsepower issues? Does anyone know? |

Wow...i thought i would throw in some random presidential stuff to get more attention for my question and man....It worked! Came back to slickdeals and saw like 4 reply notifications lol....i will do this more often now. Oh i did mean bytes and not bits too by the way.
