Canon T3i w/18-55m Refurb $543 + tax at Canon Loyalty Program

I havent seen a new post on this for a while, its not a NEW deal, but its a decent deal if you need the camera now and havent cashed in on the other T3i deals in the past few months.

For those that dont know, if you trade in a Canon camera that is out of warranty (can be not working) then you get 20% off certain cameras. This is called the Canon Loyalty Program. You have to call 1-866-443-8002

Refurb prices online:

679 - w/18-55mm Lens
599- Body Only

Prices after 20% discount through CLP:

543 + sales Tax - w/ 18-55mm
479 + sales Tax - Body Only

These should all have free shipping.

For Michigan (6% tax), this brings the T3i + 18-55mm to $575 Total.

Yes, it can be ANYcanon camera as far as I know.

Ask them when you call, they are very open about it. Its not like a sneaky deal or anything. The way Canon described it to me is that they are promoting recycling instead of their cameras ending up in landfills.

If you dont have an old Canon, you can get one for $5 or $10 on ebay that isnt working.

Yes, in fact its better if it is. No point in trading in a broken DSLR when you can sell it for $50 for parts on Ebay. For me personally, I bought a broken point and shoot for like $7 and used that as my trade-in.

Good to see they finally added the T3i to the program. As of a few months ago it wasn't part of it.

No sir, they tell you specifically this camera will be recycled so do not include any extras. I even removed the wrist strap from the broken SD750 I sent in.
I took advantage of this last month, traded in the SD750 for a T3i and a 75-300 lens. I ended up getting the T3i body for $480 at 20% off.
Free 2nd day air shipping and they send you a tag to get your camera back.

Got my XSI refurb through the loyalty program about 2yrs ago and it looked brand new besides the little gold refurb sticker on the bottom.
Cam is still going strong with multiple lenses now and nobody would know its a refurb.
