Finally! Been waiting for a deal and definitely wasn't going to pay full price for a used wheel from the bastages on the bay.

Basically can get the wheel and the non-elite pedals bundle for the regular wheel price... not too shabby.

I'm in for 1!!

Yeah, and the bundle is $250 rather than the normal $300. It's the value pack right below the wheel by itself.

The XL bundle is not a bad deal at all if you want the shifters and elite pedals

Just an FYI, this wheel is compatible with some third party pedals just in case someone is replacing a broken wheel and can save $50 buy reusing pedals.

I had a Fanatec for my original Xbox and loved it. Currently using the MS wheel on the 360.

Anybody have experience with the Stand [fanatec.de]? It does not look very study.

I really dig the Wheel Stand Pro I got. Compact, pretty sturdy. http://www.wheelstandpro.us or find it on amazon.

I have the stand and its very sturdy. The guys from insidesimracing preferred over the wheel stand pro. You will not regret it.

The wheel stand pro is more adjustable but the Fanatec is more sturdy. This is a great deal btw. Also consider the XL bundle for $350 if you want the shifter and a load cell brake.

I wonder if they've fixed the firmware issues with this wheel yet. I had one when they were first released and it was a headache... ended up having to return it.

Is it better than Logitech G27 (if yes then why)? Ready to pull the trigger on a quality wheel setup for my PC.

The only "significant" difference between these 2 wheels is that one works for the Xbox 360 and one doesn't.

If that doesn't factor into your decision at all, then it's pretty much a toss-up. They're both good setups.
