unfortunately this deal isn't very good for a valentines present unless it's for someone like me who has been married for 17 years and don't care about the box just wanting the chocolate

this is related to the living social deal for fannie may, first buy the $15 for $30 worth of goodies at Fannie May at living social (click the left side valentine gifts button) then when it's activated (12-30 hours usually) go to fanniemay.com

then, I did a search at fannie may for post holiday sale and choose 1 pound of snowy carmash on sale for 12.49 and a holiday classic gift tower that comes with 1 pound of colonial assortment, 1/2 pound of pixies and 1/2 pound of trinidads on sale for 24.99 which are both already priced at 50% off, total was $37.48 used code 19003 brought the total down to 26.24 plus shipping of 4.99 =$31.23 then applied the $30 living social gift certificate and charged 1.23 to my credit card so total of 16.23 counting what I spent on living social, plus I got 15% cashback on discover which gives the cashback on the amount before discount certificate but after any coupons so the 15% came to $3.94 so a bottom line of $12.29 for 3 pounds of goodies that at full price would have been 79.97.
