it only shows 10 results, so it's not 100 miles. but everything close to me shows not sold there, and one place, not close to me, is low stock. though my current shredder started making noises.

looking at reviews it seems to be a pain the ass as it will act as If the bin is filled up while only really at most 1/2 full, i think i would need the price to drop more before I buy it without question, it seems all shredders I look at from staples has a deal breaker due to performance flaw at least judging from reviews

Will the price keep going down? it is cheaper but not cheap enough like the $20 15 sheet omnitech one I got several days ago. or the 18sheet staples one I can't find anywhere.

I think for the home, these are a bit much. They are expensive (even at clearance) since smaller units can be found for usually around $25 or so. Also, the larger bins are a pain to empty when full.

A bunch of stores around me show low clearance stock. Still too expensive though.

This looks like the one I have, as far as shredding, power etc, it's fine - no complaints. As far as the bin, it looks like it holds much more paper than it really does. In the front of the shredder, the plastic bin is a full panel, from the top to the bottom, once you pull it open, the sides are slanted down and the back is about half the height of the shredder, maybe slightly more than helf. This is bad because 1. capacity is not as much is it looks to be and 2. can't use shredder bags in it. Bags either fall in, due to the irregular shape of the bin or cover the sensor so the shredder thinks its full.
I do like it for it's safetly features, normal on off switch, safetly "key" and an additional on off switch on the back. Good if you have young kids in the house.
For $66, even with the drawbacks, it seems like a good deal.

We need to combine our heads and come up with a way to get this baby for $30. Any of you dudes know how to hack into the Staples data base and change the pricing on stuff?

Almost every store near me has them lol. I'm gonna wait until they drop down below $30 like the 18 sheets shredder.
