Spend a decent amount of money now (once) and get a vacuum that's going to last a while, and actually suck. |

I owned this vacuum since November 2010 and had to repair/replace it 3 times so far. It will work fine for about 3 months of regular use on a 4br house, then will suffer overheating problems. Not very reliable.

I am no vacuum expert, but I've been told by various salesman that most overheating problems are due to people setting the height adjustments for their carpet lower than it needs to be. This is what causes the motor to work much harder than it needs to clean.

Look like there is no long extension on this.

Riccar vacuums are what cleaning companys use. yellow is the base model. you pay couple hundred but bagless vac are lame. Carpet Pro CPU 2T Commercial Vacuum http://www.amazon.com/Carpet-Pro-...311&sr=1-2

I bought this vacuum about 6 months ago, used it very first time and the motor burned out, used it for about 25 mins in my upstairs. Vacuumed no more then a low profile carpet and turned it off, Never turned back on. Just made a high pitch noise and smoke started coming out of the inside. Returned it at target(that's another story)
