Hoover WindTunnel T-Series Rewind Upright Vacuum, Bagless, UH70120 $80 AR + FS

I really need a vacuum but I am getting tiered in getting a vacuum that dose not last more than 12-14 months! They all have great reviews and, indeed, work great at the begging but 12-14 months later they barley pick stuff up. Anyone has recommendations for a good vacuum that they have used for years ?

I have a discover card cash back bonus I want to use on this. The rebate says I have to spend at least $100 to get the $20 rebate back. It comes out to $93.51 total after discover. Will this make me ineligible for the $20 rebate?

dyson's patents ran out recently so pretty much all the "cylone/wind tunnel" knock offs are just as good if not better now

get that... i have a small condo as well and it works 80% as good as my old dyson dc24 at 25% the price

i like that it is cheap and "disposable" since if it ever breaks a year or two from now, it will only be 50 bucks to get a new one.. its also tiny so easy to manuever in a small condo and i like the hardwood floor setting for wood and tiles

This Vac will work great if you clean all filters built into vac that are easy to access if you read the directions. That should be done at least once a month unless you have pets then every time you use it. I do office cleaning and will never again Buy a bagless vac do to the extra effort and mess to keep them going! The vacs that need bags only average about $1 a bag and with heavy pickup including pet hair, commercial cleaning,etc. is about 1 time a month. It sounds great to only dump the bucket of the vac but the manufacturers neglect to caution people about keeping the air filters clean and many are so hidden makes it easy to burn out the motors. Hey, bought this vacuum a couple months ago (not a slickdeal, but i was desperate) and have had no regrets. It works great, pulls a hell of a lot of dust without spewing it back into the air. Seriously good suckage. I have bare floors, flat carpet, medium-thickness carpet all in a very small space, so the adjustable brush height helps a lot. Total recommend.

Like any bagless it can be a little messy when you dispose of your canister full of dust and hair. Nothing a couple minutes of wiping with a paper towel won't handle.

To date the only problem i've had with it is the brush belt popping off when a braided cord got sucked in. Easy to pop back on.

There are plenty of reviews on Amazon, thought you'd want a review from a SD'er.

No not in the tunnel but in the part of the black tube that feeds into the tunnel; the part that goes around back underneath. does that make sense?
