Why would i dispute that? They are up to their eyeballs in f**king tax breaks. It is absurd.
Im disputing whether or not theyve created any jobs, since thats what conservatives believe tax breaks magically do. "Hiring" says nothing about how the jobs will be manifested.

Im not afraid to say i worded that ambiguously, hiring policy was in fact affected due to a government policy. WHO gets hired != job creation though.

Hire a vet and get a tax break.
Sounds like a really good reason to hire a vet and FIRE the guy doing the job already, to me. I still haven't actually created one NEW job, but I'm presenting a patriotic face to the world and getting a little free money for paying the same amount whether the previous employee was a Vietnam veteran, a non-vet, or a member of Al Quaida. What matters at that point is collecting my tax break for hiring a NEW and DIFFERENT veteran. |
