Why would you post a press release from an interest group? Is it because you want us to think that this is an objective, "fair and balanced" version of events, rather than a warped version cooked up by a lobbyist?
Oh, and who's behind AFC?
The real question is: Is there some kind of rule that any time you scratch the surface of a Republican, you have to find a molester, murderer, or other kind of scuzzball?

In Texas, the GOP sued to block fair redistricting maps on the grounds that they (get this!) discriminated against minorities! ![]() In California, the GOP sued to block the Citizens' Commission redistricting maps on the grounds that Hispanics weren't treated fairly! ![]() In Washington, DC, the GOP is claiming that tax cuts on billionaires benefits the poor! ![]() And in Jersey, the GOP is claiming that privatizing schools is a policy to benefit poor kids!

Where the heck did you come up with this garbage? |
|
|
![]() Private schools are like corporations, because they have to be accountable to their students who are their "clients", so if they provide a bad service at an unreasonable price, their customers have all the freedom to go elsewhere. Public schools are typical govt, we can do what we want and you're still paying us. If you want a better product, you'll have to pay another company on top of what you already paid.

Gov. Rick Perry asserts that the Texas GOP's legislative maps are in the best interest of Hispanics: http://sblog.s3.amazonaws.com/wp-...-21-11.pdf Do I really need to provide a link for the GOP's "cut taxes on billionaires and they'll stimulate the economy by buying slaves" plan? ![]()

Here's a snippet taken from the articles you just cited:
When asked why rich people can afford to hire the best educators, Giordano rightly said it's because life's not fair. Are you with Giordano that American capitalism is good, or are you a Communist like Christie who thinks that we ought to place everyone on exactly the same level? |

here is the EXACT QUOTE:
http://www.realclearpolitics.com/..._fair.html I guess it's make things up day in liberal land? The context is, as shown above, why can't poor families take their kids out of failing schools in exchange for successful private schools, because life isn't fair. |

You are flagrantly misinterpreting Governor Perry's memo. They didn't sue to block 'fair' redistricting plans. They sued to block garbage redistricting plans drawn by a San Antonio court. |

Try searching Google for, "Life's not always fair and I'm sorry about that, but to suggest that we take money from taxpayers and give it to certain taxpayers to use to educate their kids outside of the public school just seems to me to be [wrong]." |

Soooooooo, stating the obvious is now call for someone's resignation?
I'm sorry but I personally wouldn't want my tax dollars to go to someone in another district so that their kid can go to the private school of their choice. I would want my tax dollars to be spent in my district where I live. Where do they think all this extra income is going to come from? It's going to take $ away from certain districts and give it to others effectively hurting other kids. Life isn't fair and who is to blame for the location the kids live in and the schools they attend? I am sure many but the biggest finger should be pointed at the parents. But hey, it's just far easier to blame others right...! Now, that being said I do question why a teachers union leader makes $500k a year. Seems a bit excessive!
