Found this while looking to leave Sprint, firgure others might want to know

Cupid’s Arrow Hits Mark: T-Mobile Offers Free 4G Phones to Celebrate Valentine’s

Looks like a one day sale on certain phones, even though the 4G Slide isn't on the list an agent told me that it to will be available at $0

It is for a new line of service and you must lay the money out and use a mail in rebate to recoup the money.

The Galaxy S2 and the HTC Amaze are probably the most capable devices in the lineup. IMO.

It's their Valentine's deal. Pretty good. My family plan is still a promotion plan and I am still paying the same amount. The phones are free with the mail-in-rebate. I paid 200 for my G2 and got the 200 back on a gift card.

That's why it's for the classic plan.

Your paying more for the plan to pay for the phone.

That's why they offer the value plans, way cheaper, just no phones.

Expensive? We switched our family plan from Sprint because it was by far the cheapest and free phones and activation.

Will T-mobile require the phone to be send back if the contract was early terminated? I was just thinking about getting the phone for "free" then pay the $200 ETF and forget about the rebate. Maybe someone can shine some light on that. I know I have to pay the first month which is about 90.00 + 35 Activation to get the free phone. So in total if there's no other fees, 325 for a phone instead of the 600+ premium?

kvizzel answered it right on the money. T-mobile doesn't stand to make any profits by just handing out "free" phones, they've got to rob you one way or another.

I was hoping these were just "free" with 2 year contract. Get the phone and bail out, pay the ETF. Cheaper than getting some used shit off ebay. Looks like your line has to stay active for the duration of the time it takes to process the "rebate".........
