It was for sure. I was waiting for this lens for a few days. Pulled the trigger 2days back when I saw it $599 on adorama. Crossed my fingers to have it price-matched.

there is a bigger chance with that for the smaller photo stores.

newegg, amazon, .etc have an automated return system.

I use this outdoors all the time handheld, and it's perfectly fine. That's pretty much the only time and place you'll use it anyways.
