New-style burlesque-style strip club coming to Revel casino
Burlesque-style striptease will be a first for an Atlantic City casino. However, it would create some interesting R-rated competition with another strip club that was approved by New Jersey gaming regulators in December for Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort. Called Scores, the club at the Taj Mahal will feature dancers stripping down to G-strings and pasties when it opens this summer.
Icandy is just a show at the regular Bally's martini bar. It's no different than the burlesque show that Resorts ran this past summer.
The Revel product is supposed to be a club set and themed around Burlesque with dancers and shows. The club at Taj is just a strip club where the strippers don't strip.
Yeah, but the Bally's show only requires you to buy 2 drinks. I think the Resorts show actually had an admission charge. The Scores at Taj isn't open yet (I think). The whole having strippers that don't strip is puzzling since you aren't seeing anything you can't already see on the beach (at least during the summer).
looks like a nice place but AC is AC
It's a much nicer place with the beach replenishment.

Reason: Automerged Doublepost
On the low end, a room with one king-size bed on a weeknight costs $239 plus tax; rates for the same room on a Saturday climb to $439 plus tax. High-end rooms — two-story loft suites with 2,000 square feet of space — max out at $839 plus tax, employees answering the phone said.
Rates for a standard room are significantly higher than Revel’s competitors, with the $239-price tag more than triple what some rival properties charge. Basic rooms on April weeknights at Tropicana Casino and Resort cost $69 and max out at $259 on a Saturday.
Doesn't seem to me that they will be putting anyone out of business with those rates.
