No maintenance fee transponder from FAST LANE - EZ-Pass

Can we get additional transponders if you initially buy the ez pass on the go from one of the retailers?

We already have E-Zpass but now have more cars in the family. Since there's a 4 transponder limit, I need to start a new account with 4 more transponders. I used to have an E-Zpass from MD but after they started the monthly maintenance fees I switched over to Peace Bridge E-Z pass. It's been a few years since I did that. I think now it's E-ZPass NY and it still doesn't have monthly maintenance fees I believe. I read through this thread and was thinking you couldn't get Peace bridge E-ZPass anymore but finally in the last page I saw it discussed:

I don't think I've ever used my E-Zpass with peace bridge and I've had no issues. If there are no worries signing up for a new Peace Bridge one, I think I'll go with it again because the NY and NJ Bridge and Highway (Turnpike) discounts are good. In MD, the main tolls we encounter are ICC and in VA, but I don't think there are any E-Z pass toll discounts in MD and VA. Since we head to NY, NJ a few times a year, might as well go the route that gives me a discount in some area I visit.

But can you still sign up for Peace Bridge E-ZPass? I go to the site: http://www.peacebridge.com/index....Itemid=666 , click on the E-ZPass sign up link and am taken to the E-ZPass NY site. And in the Account details I see the Bridge discounts: https://www.e-zpassny.com/en/about/plans.shtml , but don't see a mention for the NJ Turnpike.

Seems they now charge $15 a transponoder as the startup fee which means $60 total set-up. Does DE E-ZPass give you discounts in NY and NJ?

I'm guessing I-pass could maybe be an option to sign up for too, but if they're not giving the NY, NJ discounts I guess forget it. But I didn't know I-Pass worked with E-z pass. Wheenver I travel to chicago and need a rental car, I'll take my e-z pass with me instead of paying extra to rent from there.
