OK, so, if you're not a Logitech VIP or haven't signed up for their program, I'm not 100% sure how to sign up any more (I think you had to receive an email at one point), but I'm sure if you REALLY want this deal, you could search around for it...

My parents were in need of a Logitech Harmony 900 (or at least an easy to use universal remote with no line-of-sight restrictions), and I noticed that the refurb price @ logitech.com is $190. I started digging through old emails for some kind of deal (the lowest I've seen a 900 for is $150 shipped - often for a refurb - other than the Fry's BF deal from 2010 which included an $80 mail-in rebate.)

I stumbled upon a Logitech VIP email (I signed up last year in hopes of getting a 50% off coupon) and clicked on the link. It turns out that the VIP store has the refurb 900's for $139 shipped + tax. (That came out to $149.44 with tax, but it'll take a full 7 days for it to arrive to us with the free shipping).

Anyway, if you're a VIP member, Click here [logitech.com] (and have forgotten how to get into the store) and then click through to the login page. Log in, and then find remotes under the "Products" menu at the top of the page.

You can try going here [logitech.com] and see if that works for you, but I'm pretty sure it won't until you're logged into the VIP store. If it comes up as $189, you're not logged in.

Regardless, I just wanted this post to be out there for anyone looking/searching for this remote.

Edit: As pointed out below, the Harmony One is $100 for the refurb.

The PS3 Adapter is $35.

Paying 40% more for a feature I don't need (the RF), and losing one I do (sequences)? The Harmony One is the no brainer.

everyone needs RF!

case in point: you don't -need- RF till you need RF and then you are upset that what you have and invested in wont cut the cake. i see no disadvantage to having the feature and even using it in cases where you dont 'need' RF. its great for long macros and sequences, hiding your gear, and controlling your devices from another room.

I could have sworn it wasn't there when I initially posted this. Considering right after ordering this I had my parents order the PS3 adapter from Amazon...

Oh well, I guess $10 is only $10, but still, it's a little ironic I suppose.

They can always cancel if from Amazon. You should add the adapter to the title or OP since that is a really good deal on it.

You still will have to use your PS3 controller with that since not everything will work with that. Isn't the point of having a Harmony remote to use less remotes...
