Or, you can try this: Control Panel --> Power Options --> look for Turn Off Hard Disks & set it to Never

There's no reason you couldn't use a $30 off $150 purchase for this. Save an extra $5 by doing so.

What happen if your drive died when you take it apart and put in in your PC?
Will it void the warranty? ============ You buy it online or pick up at the store? If online, PM to CSR on the phone? At the store, refer CSR to the OD website? My RIG:
