i got this on black friday 2011, $2.99 after easy rebate. Have been using it since. Not bad for the price. This is flat wires so much much easier untangleing. Pros and cons. Pros, the bass is great, the tips are comfy (using smallest one), noise isolation is good, the mic (which have a button) works great with my phone but not my mp3. Cons, though the bass is great, it overpowers the vocal. Not really good for exercise because as you move and the wire moves, it creates a thumping noise.
I am not an audio expert, but i did notice that music is slightly different depending on which ear bud you use. In my opinion the smalles one had the better all around music. |

not great for music as far as i am concerned.. better as mic for phone ..i got 10 in black friday i think it was $8( - 5 rebate)..used 25/75 coupon and got almost free..not happy but can't complain for what i paid

"nice sound for the price paid... this is the flat wires so that was a plus. after fully putting the ear phones on, it does block out outside noise considerably. I compared the sound quality with the Beats using the same music and there was a slight difference (the Beats of course was better but not by much). I am not a audiophile nuts, and the price i paid was better than what i expected. so very happy with purchase"

Bring it to the register. They don't always post the clearance price but it will ring up correctly if it end with 50 cents. Sounds like you wasted a trip |

I am in the exact same situation as those that bought this last Black Friday. The thing that you have to remember is that these are music headphones for a phone. The button on the microphone will pause/play and answer/end calls if you're using the headset on your phone.
With that in mind, these are a great set. The only problem is the thumping noise as you move, but in my opinon, it's not too bad. It usually takes a lot of time for a person to write a helpful post, but it only takes a few seconds to rep them.
