It was the last one on the store and had the reduced price about $137 for a while. And I bought the last one with the price $57.03 plus my 10% lowes coupon and 10 percent off gift card Big Grin

For this price, this should be a nice tool.

Can you post a receipt? My local Home Depot still shows $229. But Home Depot should price match other stores' best price. Ryobi tools are not known for precision. But they are good for general carpentry for the price.

I have never had an issue with ryobie. Yes dealt etc is a little better but unless conctruction is your job ryobi is fine. I have worked frame to finish for 2 years professionaly. My boss used ryobi drill, he had 30 years on the job.

Agreed. This knee jerk anti-Ryobi bias is getting so old. More so than even B&D and Skil, Ryobi offers a product line that reflects a sustained, comprehensive commitment to the needs of the committed woodworker/DIY'er. Good quality, high value and some truly innovative products. Consumer grade? Yes. Poor quality/ineffective for real projects? No.

That price is wrong, and so is the stock checker for me. You can use http://sd.site88.net/homedepot.html
SKU is 348277, and you can find your store # in the pdf file.

Thanks OP... picked one up at the Westerville Ohio location... they still had the floor model left, but it had a few parts missing... the one I picked up was a return and they said the blade was nicked... So i'll have to pick up a pair...

Get the blade sharpened instead. It'll be much cheaper and just as good as new

RapidSet double-edged knives for quick setup and durability
13 in. wide and 6 in. thick feed capacity lets you plane large stock, such as table legs
Externally accessible brushes help maintain peak motor performance
15 Amp 10,000 RPM spindle-speed motor for power and durability
Dust collection chute connects to a 2-1/4 in. vacuum port for efficient dust evacuation
Note: Product may vary by store.
MFG Brand Name : Ryobi
MFG Model # : AP1301
MFG Part # : AP1301
Model # AP1301
Store SKU # 348277

Item Link [homedepot.com]
Inventory Checker (Pipes) [yahoo.com] <- Be sure to put in the right SKU here
Inventory Checker #2 (site88) [site88.net] <- This one shows OOS if there is only one in the store

Personally, I found mine in a store that was listed OOS with both inventory checkers, but super YMMV. Great if you need one!

Add a Lowe's 10% off moving coupon to make it $51.33 before tax =D
