Bestbuy has 16/32/64 refur playbook in stock agian. The 64gb is best deal in my opinion for 219.99+8.99shipping and tax if apply.

Amazon warehouse also selling used - like new 64gb playbook for 259.99 right now. If you have chase freedom card, you can get 5% cash back( I think). This may qualify for a full term manufacture warranty based on my research. If anyone has experience with the Amazon warehouse purchase before, pleases share your experience.

For CA resident, Amazon warehouse deal maybe better for the warranty purpose:

Bestbuy 219.99+8.99shipping+19.25(est 8.75% tax) = 248.23 with no warranty
Amazon wareshouse(no tax for most) : 259.99 or 259.99 - 5%(chase CB) = 247 very likly has full warranty.

Playbook is lack of apps that everyone knows. Don't ding me for that. I mainly use the table for internet, videos/music, 64gb is good space and needed for travel(I don't have unlimited data plan for cloud storage/access). I check my email with my iphone. so I am not that concern missing native mail client at playbook at this time.

I misspoke. It's not March but 2nd quarter.. Still, I think we should be seeing 7 inch tablets plummet in price.. You can buy a brand new Ideapad A1 tablet for $199 on the Lenovo Website..

Well, I currently have an android phone, nook color rooted w/ full android os, a work iPad2, an HP touchpad w/ dualboot Cyanogen mod, and a 16GB Playbook. I find the Playbook web browser to be the best of them all, and I like the weight and size. I haven't try out the HDMI out yet, but Amazon VOD works perfectly. Yes, the limited apps do sux, but if you set your expectations and know what you need, it's a great tablet to last about 2yrs for normal users IMO. I'm still planning on rooting mine and put android market on it, but it seems to be more complicated than Touchpad.

Is it any diff than the leaked version available for a while now? I don't want "most" android apps, I want the ones I need already tied to my acct. Actually I don't need much; real Gmail and yahoo mail apps, gtalk, voice, google maps, JustPictures!, Netflix, Skype, Touchdown...

With the native email app, you shouldn't need Touchdown. Hell it is 6 days, just give it a try, see if you like it...

Mostly, yes. A 7" fits in a jacket pocket, and is much more portable.
