These are thin as hell. If you plan on using them often get something a little sturdier. These are not quite as sturdy as the ones that used to come with c-rations.
For camping, hurricane/emergency kits these are necessity and a good price. 4$ and you can throw one in a few different places since things like these seem to grow legs and wander off when you aren't looking.

Search for p-38 on fleabay
you can 25 of them for less than $9.00 BTW C-rations were being phased out when I joined the military and they went to MRE (Yuck and double Yuck) The Official p-38 was very sturdy. I do wonder if the items on amazon or fleabay are just as sturdy? |

I bought a "pack" of the newer ones 4 yrs ago, keep them in a drawer and as said I can use them faster than any other opener. Not had one break yet.
