I don't think editing this post with your one experience is fair. I can get all of the main national channels with this antenna in my basement where my 10.50 antenna can only get 3. Amazon also has 712- 4.5 star average in reviews.

I bought this and replaced it with a 10.50 antenna from family dollar (see reviews). This antenna did not work well for me - more channels with the 10.50 antenna! Save your money.

Got the antenna a few weeks ago, it was better then the Radio Shack amplified antenna that I got for xmas, picked up more channels and is much more discrete. Highly recommend this antenna for an indoor antenna. Paid about $45 for it shipped via Amazon.

It's also nice, because I have it up against the wall behind a bookshelf, so you can't even see it. I would highly recommend.
