I've seen this TV in action and it has the best picture I have seen. I'm concerned about the ambient lighting though. I live in a condo and have floor to 11' ceiling sliding glass doors in the living room. I know this TV has a glass screen (that's why it's heavy) and that makes it reflective. Unfortunately, the LCD screens in the same size are about $1k more.

i have a huge 12' wide floor to ceiling bay window, without a window treatment. fortunately it faces the northeast, with a good sized roof overhang and doesn't get much (if any) direct sunlight. it's mostly filled with ambient light. the tv sits on the adjacent wall (90 degrees) from the window. it has very minimal glare. the ar coating does a fairly good job, and you can tell how much it works, because the glossy black frame reflects quite a bit, but even when you have the set off the screen reflects much less. to be clear there is some mirror effect but it's minimal and when i'm over the break in period i can turn the brightness and contrast back up which should almost eliminate most reflections, at least for my setup ( unless you are at an oblique angel looking at the tv)

i'm about to bite on this deal but hesitating due to the 3.3/10 rating on reseller ratings. any slickdealers have experience with pauls tv?
