Man these things are popping up at dirt cheap prices all over the place.

So, even if you've not the biggest fan of CFL bulbs - for $0.1225 a piece it is hard to go wrong.

Found these while browsing the Cosco in Chicago on Elston Ave. today.

4 Pack Feit Electric 60w CFL bulbs.
$5.89 with $5.40 instant rebate from ComEd = $0.49 a bulb
Item #561594

Will only be valid for areas where ComEd supplies power to, no idea where else that is besides Chicago apparently.

SRP also provides coupons here but nowhere near that much.

I saw these at the Costco in Orland Park, IL and could not pass them up. Got (2) 4-packs and note you pay tax on the full cost, not the after rebate cost. They also had the 100w CFL's for 7.99 with a 4.00 instant rebate making them 3.99 for a 4-pack. Still pretty cheap, so I bought 2 of these also.

I originally went looking for the Eneloop 10 battery deal for 19.99, but they only had the (8) AA + (4) AAA + Charger for 25.99 - 5.00 instant rebate. It's a pretty horrible charger, so I passed this deal up. Was looking for the AAA deal, but they no longer had them.

Thank You ComEd.

OP - I'd say there is something wrong with the math, on Cost/Bulb.

I bought a few cases of Feit CFL globe style and flood light style bulbs at Costco Sacramento a few months ago. 4 in each box and there was a $10 rebate off of the $10.99 price. As weigel2 stated, there was tax on the pre-rebate price. So, I think I spent roughly $2 on each package and sold them on Craigslist for $8/box.

At the Clackamas, OR Costco, while not *as* good of a deal, they do have similar promos on their CFL's as well...

FIAT BULBS TAKE FOREVER TO "WARM UP". I would stay away from them. You turn them on and they are dim. Several minutes later you have full light. Do yourself a favor, many GE's warm up almost instantly.
