Yes... it is. Not best-ever barn-burner price but good value, unless you enjoy wrestling with spring clips and bulky vinyl weights.

I bought this set last year for a bit more money. You'll need to add 10lb bells to get much use out of them...and it's a pain to swap weights for different exercises. I guess it's better than blowing hundreds on adjustable weight sets. Quality is pretty good. I get annoyed when the washers for the collar sticks to the weight when I unscrew it, but what can you do.

This is the normal price for this... you can even pick it upbeat Walmart...

My local walmart had the same set without the carrying case for $29.97 yesterday in store.

These are good quality and a good price, the ones for $29 at Walmart are different. I paid $36.89 over a year ago with free shipping from Amazon. I like them a lot, plenty of weight for my needs. Here is the same set for the same price at Walmart http://www.walmart.com/ip/Cap-Bar...gMethod=rr

I had a weider set of these before I got bow flex 552s, then 1090s on a later sd for $360.

These are ok, but not much weight per arm & at least on the weiders, no matter how much you tighten them, as you're doing bicep curls, the weight plates eventually work loose the collars & spin.. So you have to stop your workout to periodically tighten them back up... Otherwise they are heavy enough duty since they're all metal/iron & will probably outlast my bowflex select techs & get the job done for little money.. Not much weight though, but there is room to add bigger plates at additional cost..

The spring clips on my 300lb Olympic weight set don't have the spinning & unravelling problem.. So not sure about the comment on messing with spring clips..you just squeeze & slide out to release & let go to lock down.. Between my spin collar dumbbells & spring clip Olympic barbell set.. The clip design works better.. Although the brand is different & it's stacks of 5 lb plates on a dumbbell vs 45s, 35s, 25s, 10s & 5 lb plates on an Olympic barbell that I use with more up down motions (bench press, incline & decline press, bar/rack squats, dead lifts, etc) vs bicep curl or preacher curl type motions with the dumbbells..

Doing motions where the dumbbells & weights don't spin they don't have a problem unravelling the collars.... Like tricep extensions, lawn movers, bicep hammer pistons, weighted squats & calf raises, etc where you just hold them to your side & move up & down.
