I can get that 1080p for $498 because of a gift card balance.... I wonder
Edit: Well $483 with a small cash back. Last edited by stinkybottom; 02-12-2012 at 08:53 PM.. Have you heard of this website called "Google"? It is on the "I_N_T_ER_N_E_T." Use it. I am not here to teach answers to questions a monkey could figure out for themselves.

and as far as price where do u see, how often do u see a 50" plasma for sub $500? they are nice TV's too. The slim LG design, lots of easy to access and use picture tuning menu. Almost jumped on the 720 earlier tonight for a third HT setup in the FR as I have the 42 Z/LG in the BR and it's fantastic for the $ I paid which is about the same now after discounts and cashback BTW I also have a GT Panny in the LR HT. I personally statistically don't see the sense on electronics under $500, so I don't. Did get an SQ on the big Pan tho. |

Btw did you read the fine print on the coupons?
Don't by any means let that be a dealmaker- practically useless... and yes 5% CB. If it was the 10/15% The Z would have got bought. No rush for me I don't even have the fam room done yet so I'll keep riding for the 499 1080 price to happen again or the $800 no ship/no tax 60"Z/LG to pop again which is what I really want to score, but I really don't want to spend that kinda coin for the FR (read: KIDS movies/HT) entertainment/family room thing is because of the margins the 50" 720 never drops below 469 whereas the 1080 hits 499 3-4 times a year. Sooo....if you demand the 1080 (necessary or not) and you're patient... Last edited by rippem; 02-12-2012 at 10:11 PM.. |

Got the 1080p last year from the BF deal for $470 taxes and shipped. I was blown away by its picture quality and it must have been the best deal I've bought in the last few years

bought the 1080p set a long time ago (before x-mas) for $499 minus 10% coupon plus IL tax but 15% back discover card cashback. Fabulous price for a decent set...

This seems to be one heck of a price on the 1080. I am thinking of buying this as a gift for a relative that wants to put a TV in their garage. They live in the north east and this would be an unheated garage. Nice garage, but unheated.
Would the cold weather ruin the TV? Another worry would be a possible "glare" issue with this TV being a plasma. What do you think? Does anyone know of a good wall mount bracket that would fit in a corner? I ask because I believe they talked about putting a TV in a top corner of the garage. They would be attaching the mount to cement block. Thanks for the help.

If the coupon is used does it cancel the Discover cashback? I ask because...
"Offer is not valid in combination with any other offers". I see another thread where it was said that... It means that you will not get any CashBack if you use the coupon? |
