This is the latest version. There is a version 9 coming out soon but it is still in beta as of now.
The above link is German. Enter an email address and you will be sent a full version key. You probably want to use an email address that is either disposable or one you don't care if you get spam mail in.

I just got a full version license sent to me. I just had to give an email address. You will get an email with a link that shows your email address in the link. Click that and you will be sent to a page with the license. After that you will get a confirmation email with the license as well.

it will just send you to a page that shows your license key...you need to click the link so the key can also be sent to your email

I've used it and it is pretty good. I stay away from messing with the registry settings on my computer. But everything else is pretty good. It's like System TuneUp or TuneUp Utilities...it's not bad at all.

Good find. WinOptimizer is nice, but I use TuneUp Utilities 2012 on most of my machines.

I like TUU too...it's nice to have a couple of these types of programs sometimes. I think when I clean junk files one program usually finds something another misses. I've used Ccleaner, TuneUp Utilities, JV16, Ace Utilities and this Ashampoo Winoptimizer. Ccleaner is on all my machines and then usually 2 from the list of the others.

You were right about having to create an account. I just tried with an email address I have not used before with Ashampoo and had to create a fake account. Just name, dob, age and country I think. Once that info was entered it showed my key and it was emailed to me. When the info is entered you will have a choice of clicking one of two buttons at the bottom of the page. The one on the left is to submit the info now while the one on the right is to submit later. I clicked the now button.

Yeah, I have CCleaner on all of my machines too. I typically pair that with Registry Mechanic 11 and TuneUp Utilities 2012.

I don't think I've ever used Ace Utilities, but definitely JV16 and WinOptimizer. I tried out the beta of JV 16 2012 and thought it was pretty cool.

So, after creating an Ashampoo account and giving them an email address and then going to the registration's message link to get the license, the web page shows the message:
