Official PS Vita Gamer's Lounge Thread

Any PSP games that are better when played on PS Vita? Why They didn't port Valkyria Chronicles 2 to Vita is beyond me. That would be an auto buy.

Anyone given Resistance Burning Skies a try yet? Personally I'm waiting for Gravity Rush, still need to fire up the Demo though.

I say Burning Skies is worth it if you want a new Vita game. Like you, I'm also looking forward to Gravity Rush on the 12th. Burning Skies will be the game I go to for multiplayer on Vita until Killzone comes out. The game's had some online issues that have mostly been worked out by now. Single player is pretty good. Try the demo and see if you like it first.

Resistance wasn't bad, I picked it up at either a buy 2 g 1 free deal or it may have been b1 g1 50% off. It's a decent game, just very short. I was able to platinum in about 5-6 hours.

For those with the Vita and another system (xbox, ps3, wii), it's worthwhile IMO to subscribe to the unlocked gamer club at Best Buy for 15 bucks. I have yet to see Vita games make the coupons, but you should get a set of coupons in the mail 2-4 times a year, and one of those is for a B2G1 free on 39.99 and under games. The last one I had expires in early July, was able to pick up batman lego 2, metal gear, and gravity rush for 80 bucks plus tax. There will be other B2G1 free deals in the future without coupons, but in the meantime I find these to be good for Vita games as most of them are 39.99 new or less if on sale.

I still need to beat unit 11 before i even start resistance.. the longer I take the better the deals will be haha

Bought a ps vita off craigslist today, didn't link it up with my ps3 system yet though as I'm at work for 24 hours straight.

Can it play ps1 games?

On the PSN store it says "this game cannot be downloaded on a ps vita" for everything I've ever purchased, except the ps mini's.
