Sorry to threadcrap but I want to provide some knowledge to the visitors of this thread to help inform their purchasing decision:
This drive uses asynchronous nand as opposed to the Pyro SE which uses synchronous nand. You can get a Pyro SE for about the same $1/gb price point, and the synchronous nand consistently outperforms comparable asynchronous nand-based drives. If you are in the market, wait for the Pyro SE or another synchronous nand drive - this one is NOT worth it! No need to take my word for it, read these in-depth test results. [hardocp.com] |

The SE is better, but I would hardly say you can get it for the same pricepoint.
